In the third part of the series filmed on his family farm Harold Beer introduces some more unusual Ferguson equipment and takes the story forward into the start of the Massey-Ferguson era.Advances in the mechanization of the potato crop are illustrated by the two-row automatic planter and the trailed harvester renowned for producing a very clean crop. A rotary cultivator, independent gang steerage hoe, kale cutrake and seed drill are all used as they would have been 40-50 years ago, and will bring back many memories to farmers.
